Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Asset Class Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for demonstrating in-depth knowledge of various asset classes such as equity, fixed income, futures and options, ABS, and MBS.

You will possess conceptual knowledge of fund accounting and portfolio valuation, with familiarity with market reference data and corporate actions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing data reconciliation and analyzing reconciliation breaks in detail.

Additionally, you will conduct source system data analysis to manage source-to-target data mapping for large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to define and document data conversion requirements.
  • Execute conversion and testing of static and transactional data between core systems.
  • Perform data cleaning, scrubbing, and consistency checks (pre-checks).

The successful candidate will understand and manage the Conversion Run Book and task assignments.

Advanced Excel skills are preferred but not mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of asset classes.
  • Conceptual knowledge of fund accounting and portfolio valuation.
  • Familiarity with market reference data and corporate actions.
  • Experience in data reconciliation and analysis.
  • Source system data analysis and management.
  • Conversion and testing of data.
  • Excel skills.
