**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Night Support Team. This is a permanent role requiring 10+ years of experience in database and application development and support.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages, as well as experience with MS SQL Server and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.

This role involves leading the Operations team, driving strategic direction, job monitoring, scheduling, configuration, and maintenance of batch jobs.

Responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless experience.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing operational processes, guidelines, and best practices to streamline support operations and enhance user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, modifying, and troubleshooting SSIS packages, stored procedures, SQL queries, automation processes, and SQL jobs with an eye on performance.
  • Converting, manipulating, and preparing large volumes of data for ingestion into our systems using SQL Server integration tools.
  • Maintaining and supporting data ingestion tools and automation scripts.
  • Managing and resolving data-related issues reported by customers and internal employees.
  • Conducting quality and business logic checks on all data into and out of systems.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, technical, and consultative skills, acquired knowledge of the work product, and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
