Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

We're seeking an experienced full stack developer to join our team and help us deliver innovative solutions. A strong background in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Agile methodologies is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of features and smooth deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Develop unit tests and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Ruby language fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Grape, ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, and lifecycle callbacks.
  • Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, and performance profiling.
  • Proficient with PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord.
  • Experienced in optimizing N+1 queries, indexes, and query plans.
  • Knowledgeable about Bundler, Rake, Rubygems, Gem building, and custom gem publishing.
  • Comfortable deploying and optimizing Passenger, Thin.
  • Understanding of Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling.
