Role Overview
SAP CPQ Platform Engineer is required to perform complex configurations, write automation scripts, and create technical solution designs for various use cases. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in the field and possess strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Perform simple and complex configurations on the SAP CPQ platform.
- Write iron python code to automate complex business logic on the SAP CPQ platform.
- Create technical solution designs for various use cases that are a combination of SAP CPQ configurations and Iron Python scripting.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Writing test scripts, performing unit tests, and peer reviewing code.
- Performing advanced administration activities such as managing integrations, user permissions, data setup, and data migration.
- Collaborating with extended teams to manage systems and infrastructure required for ongoing development and releases.
- Integrating SAP CPQ with other systems via out-of-the-box REST APIs and custom endpoints.
Requirements
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills.
- Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Prior experience working with platforms and knowing where to configure vs where to code is a plus.
- Prior SAP CPQ experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, GIT, Maven, Ant, and Jenkins or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and ceremonies.
