IndiGo is seeking individuals to fill the role of Airport Operations and Customer Services Officer. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, secure, and on-time airport operations while providing exceptional customer service to passengers.

Responsibilities
  • Reservations & Ticketing:
  • Making reservations across the counter, selling flight tickets, remitting cash to the concerned department, answering customer queries efficiently over the telephone, setting up check-in counters, screening checked-in baggage according to procedures, maintaining high-quality check-in procedures, assisting customers with special requests, ensuring a smooth departure experience.
  • Departures:
  • Attending pre-flight and post-flight briefings, coordinating with colleagues to ensure a seamless airport experience.
  • Arrivals:
  • Assisting customers with special requests upon arrival, providing support to customers with mishandled or damaged baggage, preparing necessary reports, coordinating with the baggage vendor.
  • Post-Flight Departure:
  • Filing all necessary flight papers accurately and promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle cash transactions, manage reservations accurately, possess a patient and helpful demeanor.
  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with passengers and colleagues effectively, work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address customer issues effectively, think critically in a dynamic airport environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • Graduation is mandatory (for freshers).
  • No visible tattoos allowed.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
  • Rotational weekly offs.
  • A valid passport is mandatory.
