We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Business Risk Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical risk and have experience in managing and reducing risk within an organization.
As a Business Risk Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the risk profile of various teams, including Technology and Product. You will also design, implement, and test controls to manage and reduce risk, as well as perform risk and control assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Additional responsibilities include recording, handling, and reporting on risk incidents, delivering technology risk insights to executive committees, and driving effective implementation and communication of operational risk management policies and guidelines.
The successful candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations, software, hardware, data flows, change control, and Agile and Kanban product delivery.
Key qualifications include the ability to adapt messages based on the audience and expectations, define risk appetite, risk impact, and identify risk likelihood, provide control testing support, and quickly assume responsibilities.
Nice to have skills include data and SQL skills, SOX controls exposure, and previous examples of practically interpreting and organizing complex data.
