We are seeking an experienced Senior MySQL Database Architect to join our team at Radical Technologies. As a key member of our database team, you will be responsible for constructing, testing, and maintaining our MYSQL database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and monitor disaster recovery plans for our production database environment.
  • Identify bottlenecks in database performance and optimize database and SQL queries.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of our database in production and staging environments.
  • Perform capacity planning for database growth and train junior personnel on best practices.
  • Develop diagrams for data structure entity relationships and data flows.
  • Prepare reports for databases and customize for specific needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with five years of directly related work experience; or Master's degree with three years of commercial experience in MySQL Development and MySQL Server.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring, maintaining, monitoring, overseeing, and troubleshooting Azure MySQL database, MySQL database servers v.5.7 with multi-master configuration running on Linux in production and staging.
  • Experience in Extract Transform and Load phases of data intake and established best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Internet/Intranet resources.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
