Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to safeguard our systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security tools and infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitor systems and networks for potential security breaches and investigate violations.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • Respond to security incidents and lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Evaluate system configurations to ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and secure software development life cycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Solid understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, virtual private networks, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency with security information and event management platforms, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
