Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned data engineering expert to join our team. As a Principal Data Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.

This role requires a deep understanding of big data processing, workflow orchestration, and job performance tuning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the enterprise data strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient data processing solutions using Spark and other technologies.
  • Leverage AWS services to optimize data delivery and scalability.
  • Mentor junior engineers to adopt modern data engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to ensure alignment of engineering strategies with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SparkSQL, Apache Spark, AWS, Python, and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise-wide data architecture patterns such as Data Fabric or Data Mesh.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile delivery.
