Job Description

As a seasoned automation testing professional, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop automation scripts. Your expertise in test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and software testing practices will be crucial in delivering efficient and high-quality automated test suites.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices. Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber is highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in designing and developing automation test scripts using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
  • Executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
  • Identifying and reporting defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Performing regression testing to ensure that changes or updates do not introduce new issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS, IT, ETC) or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Proven experience of 4+ years as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.
  • Experience in designing and developing automation test scripts using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
