Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and securing cloud infrastructure and applications.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems, including AWS services such as VPC, TGW, VPN, security groups, and networking access. You will also work closely with our development teams to implement and manage security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our cloud security posture and contribute to the development of our DevSecOps practices. Required Skills and Qualifications- 4–7 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering
- Strong working knowledge of AWS core and security services (IAM, GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Config, Control Tower, KMS)
- Experience managing and securing Kubernetes/EKS workloads, with focus on RBAC, secrets, and runtime security
- Solid understanding of AWS networking and security fundamentals (VPNs, VPCs, TGW, firewalls, routing)
- Practical knowledge of CSPM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF solutions (Cloudflare) and firewall appliances (Palo/Fortinet)
- Familiarity with code quality and security scanning tools like SonarQube, Codecov, Trivy, Inspector
- Strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix, scripting (Bash/Python), and cloud automation
