Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data architectures, developing data pipelines, and ensuring high-quality data delivery.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design and implement data solutions, and collaborate on the development of data-driven products. Your expertise in data engineering, software development, and communication will enable you to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures to meet business requirements
  • Develop data pipelines to collect, process, and deliver high-quality data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
  • Ensure high-quality data delivery through data validation, testing, and documentation
  • Maintain and improve existing data systems to ensure efficiency and scalability

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering, software development, and data science
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions and driving business outcomes
  • Strong expertise in data engineering tools and technologies, including AWS, SQL, Python, and Apache Kafka
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and efficient data design and access
  • Knowledge of GXP/Computer Systems Validation principles
  • Experience with data management tools, such as Flyway or Liquibase
  • Reporting and BI tools, such as Tableau
