Embedded engineers play a crucial role in the development and support of devices with non-volatile memories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write algorithms to support non-volatile memory devices, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Update existing algorithms with new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Assess feasibility of support requests to identify all necessary electrical and software requirements for successful device support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and release socket module adapter boards.
  • Evaluate incoming requests for support of devices, applying technical expertise to provide efficient solutions.
  • Utilize standard engineering techniques and leverage AI to complete device support engineering tasks, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Work with QA and the software team on unique testing requirements, ensuring comprehensive testing and validation.
  • Provide expert guidance and assistance on issues or questions pertaining to device support, collaborating with Technical Support.
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems found and reported by QA or customers, maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficient in C/C++/Assembly languages, Python, and leveraging AI for research, coding, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Familiarity with EPROM, Flash, Microcontrollers, and PLDs, as well as communication protocols SPI, I2C, UART, SWD, JTAG.
  • Understanding of signal integrity, ground bounce, power supply noise, and other relevant concepts.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
