Job Title: Data Governance Solutions Architect

As a senior data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and supporting the tools and technology required to enable an enterprise data governance program.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with business stakeholders to identify and align on workable solutions to data privacy requirements and challenges.

  • Design and implement data governance solutions using popular tools like Collibra, Informatica, and Alation
  • Develop and maintain metadata stores for business users to search and understand information
  • Implement data cataloging solutions to establish clear data ownership and access control management
  • Build custom integrations between data governance tools and various data stores
  • Migrate existing data sources to a data governance tool
  • Implement workflow management systems to optimize and automate data governance workflows
  • Track, investigate, and correct data quality issues in a data governance tool
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data governance tools like Collibra, Informatica, and Alation
  • 5+ years of experience in data management space
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and leaders
  • Knowledge of data governance practices and business/technology issues related to data protection
  • Demonstrated consulting skills with change management concepts and strategies
