Language Bridge Specialist

We are seeking a part-time contractual professional who can bridge communication gaps between technical and business teams in Mandarin Chinese and English.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking) and English, with some exposure to software development concepts.
This is a best-suited opportunity for professionals who can dedicate weekday morning hours.
Responsibilities- Provide Chinese language expertise (Mandarin) for translation, interpretation, and review of technical/business documents.
- Assist in communication and collaboration between software developers and business stakeholders.
- Support requirement gathering, documentation, and validation activities in Chinese and English.
- Provide insights into local context and nuances to ensure accuracy in deliverables.
- If technically capable, assist in reviewing technical documents, user flows, or specifications.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and proficient in English.
- Prior experience in translation, business analysis, or support roles.
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), tools, or IT projects is preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Available during morning IST hours on weekdays.
- Hands-on experience or academic exposure to coding, application development, or technical documentation.
- Familiarity with tools like MS Office, Jira, Confluence, or any project collaboration platforms.
This is a part-time contractual role, paid on an hourly basis.
