Transformative Leadership for Early Childhood Education

At Reliance Foundation, we seek a visionary leader to spearhead our Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme. As the lead ECCE programme manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative ECCE programmes that cater to the needs of 3 to 6-year-old children from low-income and marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop a strategic vision for ECCE programmes, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Lead the ECCE team, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
  • Design and develop evidence-based ECCE programmes.
  • Foster stronger relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, educational institutions, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance the impact and reach of ECCE programmes.
  • Manage a high-performing team of professionals dedicated to ECCE programme success.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to ensure programme effectiveness.
  • Manage the budget for ECCE programmes, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet programme goals.

Advocacy and Public Relations

  • Monitor expenses and financial performance, making recommendations for optimization.
  • Integrate new findings and technologies to enhance the quality and relevance of ECCE programmes.
  • Stay abreast of research, trends, and innovations in early childhood education.
  • Represent the organization in public forums and advocate for the importance of ECCE.
  • Build positive relationships with policymakers and the community to enhance programme visibility.

Key Stakeholders and Collaborators:

  • District and block officials of the Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) and Education.
  • District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs).
  • NGOs working with young children in the district.
  • Field implementation partner(s).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing comprehensive educational programmes, preferably in ECCE.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with local and national regulations related to ECCE.
