Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs and enhancements within the S4 HANA environment to meet business requirements and improve user experience.

- Design, develop, and deploy OData services to integrate SAP applications with external systems for seamless data exchange.

- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications to drive project success.

- Perform system analysis, design coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of SAP applications to ensure high-quality solutions.

- Ensure the integration of ABAP applications with backend SAP systems using OData services for efficient data management.

- Optimize and enhance existing ABAP code and OData services for performance and usability to meet business needs.

- Implement SAP standard and custom solutions in accordance with best practices to ensure scalability and reliability.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and guidelines to maintain code quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and OData services to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and improve solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members to foster growth and development.

- Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure successful implementation of SAP solutions and meet business objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field to provide a strong foundation in programming and software development.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in ABAP development within the S4 HANA environment to demonstrate expertise and skills in ABAP programming and S4 HANA development.

- Proven experience in developing OData services and working with CDS views to leverage the power of data integration and visualization.

- Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture and data modeling to design and implement efficient and scalable data solutions.

- Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows to develop and maintain custom ABAP programs and enhancements.

- Experience with SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio to leverage the power of cloud-based development and deployment.

- Knowledge of SAP Gateway and OData services to integrate SAP applications with external systems and enable data exchange.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and OData services.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with functional teams and provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP ABAP certification to demonstrate expertise and skills in ABAP programming and S4 HANA development.

- Experience with CDS views and AMDP to leverage the power of data integration and visualization.

- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies to drive innovation and improve solutions.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Cloud to leverage the power of cloud-based development and deployment and stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and methodologies.
