Package Delivery Specialist

In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of software applications to our clients' environments. Your expertise in packaging and deploying applications will be invaluable as you work closely with our teams to resolve any issues that may arise.

About the Role

As a Package Delivery Specialist, your primary focus will be on preparing, testing, and releasing software within the client environment. This involves incident resolution and request fulfillment, as well as contributing to the day-to-day support of the Endpoint environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient packaging strategies to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Execute application packaging processes within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage and troubleshoot packages, resolving incidents and requests related to them.
  • Liaise with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with external partners to ensure high-quality output meets agreed standards.
  • Support multiple customer environments simultaneously, utilizing technical skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk and other resolver groups to resolve tickets effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require at least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems. You should have a thorough understanding of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks, along with knowledge of Windows 11 and AD Group Policies. Additionally, you should possess excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.

Required Skills

  • Intermediate level PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family including Microsoft Configuration Manager.
  • Proficiency in English language.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in preparing applications for Citrix environment.
  • Microsoft Certifications such as MD-100: Windows 10 or MD-101: Managing modern desktops.
