Senior Data Scientist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our analytics group, you will play a vital role in developing sophisticated machine learning models and predictive analytics.

  • You will lead and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions, analyze complex datasets, and derive actionable insights that drive business impact.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, identify opportunities for analytics-driven solutions, and communicate findings effectively.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end model development, from problem definition and data exploration to model training, validation, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions
  • Lead data science projects and teams
  • Analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of total DS and model development experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and comprehensive knowledge of regression and classification concepts
  • Adept understanding of various data science approaches, machine learning algorithms, and statistical methods

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with neural networks and deep learning techniques
  • Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams
