Job Title: Reliability Engineer - Financial Systems

Talent500 is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and operational excellence of financial platforms. This individual will be responsible for delivering highly reliable financial applications and data services that meet demanding requirements for accuracy, compliance, and availability.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with monitoring and observability tools, automation frameworks, and IaC tools. They should also be proficient in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Additionally, they will need to possess excellent communication skills to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure financial platforms meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Build automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for financial applications and data pipelines.
  • Lead and participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
