Strategic Initiatives Leadership Role

This high-visibility leadership position demands a visionary strategist and hands-on operator who can manage complex, cross-functional projects.

The strategic initiatives leader will be responsible for prioritizing, planning, and implementing key projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Portfolio Management: Prioritize projects based on impact, ROI, and strategic value.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain the phased roadmap (0–12m, 12–24m, 24–36m).
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress, risks, and ensure deliverables are on track.

Additionally, the leader will lead cross-functional teams and vendors to execute projects, develop and manage project plans, timelines, and KPIs, and ensure timely project launches.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, ideally in AI, technology policy, or global nonprofits. They should have a strong understanding of AI, governance, and emerging technologies, as well as exceptional project management skills and excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
