Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods, as well as experience in teaching IGCSE or other international curricula.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing coherent instructions to engage students in independent thinking, utilizing a wide variety of teaching techniques and tools to address different learners, and creating and distributing educational supports.

You will also collaborate with the School Counselor, Coordinators, and Head of School in providing students with academic, non-academic and social support, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing lessons that incorporate project-based and hands-on learning strategies that encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Transacting student assessments as designed and approved by the curriculum team.
  • Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out by his/her student.
  • Encouraging and monitoring the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelors of Education or Masters of Education in the relevant subject area.

Experience: Experience in teaching IGCSE or other international curricula (such as the IB or A-Levels) can be highly beneficial.

Skills: A good understanding of the IGCSE framework, assessment methods (including the grading system), and syllabi is essential. Cambridge International certificate in Teaching and Learning will be a plus.
