Automation Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with expertise in automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automate functional, regression, API, and integration test cases.
  • Perform REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Python requests libraries.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Ensure testing is aligned with Agile/DevOps principles and shift-left testing strategies.

Required Skills:

  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, using Postman, Rest Assured, or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
