Technical Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to lead the development and scaling of fintech platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for using technology to create meaningful impact in financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end designs, architectures, and developments of fintech products and platforms.
  • Make technical decisions and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Work closely with product, business, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and ensure code quality, best practices, and timely delivery of product features.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability for roadmap planning.
  • Oversee integrations with third-party platforms, APIs, and financial systems.
  • Establish and maintain DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2–3 years in a lead/architect role.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, and database design.
  • Experience with fintech, payments, lending platforms, or BFSI domain is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
