The Role

As a Content Creator, you will own the entire creative process, brainstorming fresh ideas and turning them into polished content for our social media channels.

Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing original content ideas, designing high-quality graphics and short-form videos, and utilizing design tools like Canva and mobile-first video editing apps.

  • Conceptualization & Ideation: Develop impactful ideas that align with political and social messaging.
  • Hands-On Creation: Produce visually compelling graphics and short-form videos from start to finish.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize design tools like Canva and mobile-first video editing apps (e.g., InShot, CapCut etc.) to create and edit content efficiently.
  • Trendspotting: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, meme formats, and viral content to ensure posts are timely, relevant, and shareable.
  • Multi-Platform Adaptation: Adapt and resize content for different social media platforms, including Instagram (Reels, Stories), YouTube (Shorts), Facebook, and X.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure all content is factually accurate and aligned with the overall narrative and campaign objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Content Creator or similar role.
  • Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your creative work is essential, demonstrating skills in creating engaging graphics and/or short-form videos for social media.
  • Mastery of Canva: High proficiency in Canva or similar tools is required, enabling you to create impressive designs quickly and efficiently.
  • Video Editing Skills: Experience with mobile video editing apps (e.g. InShot, CapCut etc.) for creating sharp, fast-paced Reels and Shorts.
  • Social Media Native: An intuitive understanding of what type of content works and why on different social media platforms.
  • Speed & Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and turn around high-quality content on short notice.
  • Political Interest: Keen interest in and good understanding of Indian politics and current affairs.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Previous experience creating content in a media, PR/communications agency, public affairs, or a political/advocacy setting.
  • Strong copywriting skills for creating catchy captions.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
