About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA Database Architect to join our team at Neer Info. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SAP HANA databases to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement SAP HANA databases to meet business requirements.
  2. Develop and optimize SQL/PL SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
  3. Build and maintain data warehousing solutions, including the integration of disparate data sources and the development of ETL processes.
  4. Design, develop, and manage ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into SAP HANA.
  5. Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and resource management.
  6. Implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow between SAP HANA and other systems.
  7. Ensure data integrity and quality through validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  8. Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  9. Maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
  10. Address and resolve database-related issues, including performance problems, data inconsistencies, and system outages.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  2. Strong proficiency in SQL/PL SQL, including experience with complex queries, stored procedures, and scripting.
  3. Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database, including design, implementation, and management.
  4. Proven experience as a data engineer, working with SAP HANA databases and related technologies.
  5. Familiarity with ETL tools and technologies, with experience in designing and managing ETL workflows.
  6. Ability to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  7. Experience with data integration and data quality management.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certifications in SAP HANA or related data engineering technologies.
  2. Experience with additional data management or BI tools.
  3. Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions and platforms.
