Job Title: Data Engineering Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable data pipelines that can handle large volumes of data.

  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in Python programming and working with RDBMS and NoSQL systems.
  • A strong understanding of AWS ecosystem, including Airflow, EMR, Redshift, S3, Athena, and PySpark, is also essential.
  • In addition, the candidate should have experience in developing REST APIs using Python frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.

The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to source all the required data for business use cases.

You will contribute to various stages of data engineering, including data acquisition, ingestion, processing, monitoring pipelines, and validating data.

Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining multiple data ingestion and processing pipelines successfully.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions, such as Amazon S3 and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in working with crawling libraries like BeautifulSoup in Python would be desirable.
  • Proven ability to write complex SQL queries to retrieve key metrics.
