About This Role

We are looking for a skilled financial analyst to join our team in monitoring and analyzing financial transactions to detect and prevent money laundering and other financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen individuals and entities against global sanction lists issued by regulatory agencies.
  • Review high-risk scenarios and identify potential sanctions screening matches.
  • Conduct thorough research and investigations to confirm whether potential matches are actual matches according to guidelines.
  • Release or escalate potential matches as stipulated in working instructions.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in KYC Sanctions Screening with a maximum overall experience of 7 years.
  • Familiarity with internal systems and processes or similar processes at other institutions.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and develop well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Strong documentation skills to clearly articulate alert disposition.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, or equivalent is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of regulatory practices in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), OFAC, and sanctions.
  • A self-starter capable of working under minimum supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
