Job Title: Java Developer

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting API Gateway infrastructure in on-prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of API Gateway platform
  • Automation of API pipeline scripts to support large number of API publishing into the API gateway platform
  • Creating and monitoring alerts on Splunk and Thousand Eye tools
  • Participating in performance tuning activities and looking for opportunities to improve platform performance
  • Interacting with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Python programming language
  • At least 2 years of experience with cloud technologies, virtualization platforms, and containers such as Docker, AKS, EKS, etc.
  • Experience with KONG API Gateway Management Platform
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration/delivery practices and other DevOps concepts
  • Familiar with Agile software development model
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Programming languages: Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Scripting: Bash, Groovy
  • Deployment Cycle: Jenkins, Git
  • Framework: Spring
  • API Gateway: Experience with KONG API Management platform
  • Cloud Technology: AWS Public Cloud, Azure Public Cloud, Harness, Terraform
