Job Summary

This role involves creating and maintaining test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other related tools, working closely with the development and quality assurance teams to identify test requirements, develop test cases, and implement test automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks. Develop and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter or Gatling to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Test Scenario Preparation: Prepare standard test scenarios in collaboration with Product Management, Development, and Delivery teams, working closely with the Development team.
  • Defect Management: Run tests on various application components and features to identify and resolve functional and technical issues. Design test scenarios to ensure 100% requirement coverage; prepare and maintain test cases, report defects, and manage the overall testing process.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed test requirements and fully understand application functionality. Act as a technical mentor to junior testers and support knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies, proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#. They will also be familiar with Agile development processes and defect management tools like JIRA.
