Job Title:

Salesforce Technical Consultant

 

Experience Overview:

Minimum 2 years of technical experience in software development and implementation.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and implement Salesforce applications and solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and customize Salesforce components using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flows and Triggers to enhance system functionality.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs to facilitate data exchange.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables that align with organizational goals.
  • Debug, test and document code to ensure quality and maintainability, meeting industry standards.
  • Provide technical support for ongoing Salesforce enhancements, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and best practices to maintain expertise and drive business success.

 

Required Skills & Expertise:
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Salesforce fundamentals: data modeling, security and sharing rules to ensure effective data management.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Flows and Process Builder is required to develop and customize Salesforce components.
  • Basic experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) is necessary to integrate Salesforce with external systems.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange packages and standard modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) is essential for leveraging existing solutions and features.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) is beneficial for efficient collaboration and code management.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are crucial for resolving technical issues and ensuring high-quality code.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

 

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
