The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior GoLang Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Performance & Scalability team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our intelligent performance analysis tool, Perfsizer, using Golang. Your primary focus will be on development backlogs, and you will also support operational and delivery activities.

You will work closely with core experts across the globe to handle critical issues of the platform and contribute to the growth of our BTP FP Engineering and Delivery services team. This is a great opportunity to push boundaries, learn, and grow with a dynamic and innovative team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Kubernetes controllers and microservices using Golang.
  • Enhance features and pipelines for Perfsizer, focusing on development and deployment.
  • Support day-to-day operational and release-based activities.
  • Contribute to additional projects based on business requirements.

Your Qualifications

  • 4 – 8+ years of prior experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Golang, including concurrency and RESTful services.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Working knowledge of developing and maintaining Kubernetes controllers.

The BTP Performance & Scalability team is part of the SAP Business Technology Platform, which serves as the foundation for all future innovations at SAP. Our team focuses on providing services and solutions that strengthen the platform, making it stable, resilient, and increasing adoption. As a member of this team, you will work closely with experts across the globe to drive performance, scalability, and platform monitoring aspects of SAP Business Technology Platform.
