Job Title

The Web Development Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of our web projects. This individual is responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of custom solutions and site integration.

Effective communication skills are essential for this position, as the Web Development Specialist must actively listen to understand what clients want and make it a reality.

  • Coding websites, quality assurance, testing, and developing fixes.

  • Maintaining the CMS for optimal performance, ensuring high-performance and availability.

  • Generating, creating and updating custom web applications.

  • Monitoring live website performance, conducting performance tests and troubleshooting issues.

  • Providing diagnostic reports of website performance and taking care of security and compliance standards.

  • Liaising with other developers in the team, establishing strong professional relationships with clients and other professionals.

  • Conducting research and keeping abreast of software development trends.

Key Requirements

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications, designing and developing responsive design websites.

  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.

  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development, proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
