As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap, guiding the organization towards a data-driven approach. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership: Provide thought leadership in data science, driving the organization's data strategy and roadmap.">
  • Advanced Analytics: Design and implement advanced analytical models to solve complex business problems, leveraging predictive and prescriptive modeling, clustering, and optimization techniques.">
  • Data Exploration: Explore and analyze large and complex datasets to uncover hidden patterns, trends, and insights that inform strategic decisions.">
  • Model Development: Lead the end-to-end development of machine learning models, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.">
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making.">
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, helping them improve their skills and contribute effectively to projects.">
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, actively seeking opportunities to apply new techniques to business challenges.">

Requirements & Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.">
  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on machine learning and statistical modeling.">
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.">
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.">
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.">
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and business needs.">
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in machine learning algorithms and techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.">
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and PySpark, with familiarity with relevant libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.">
  • Data Handling: Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.">
  • Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, etc., for creating insightful visualizations.">
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and model deployment.">
  • Statistical Analysis: Profound knowledge of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.">
  • DevOps: Experience in DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automating model deployment and updates.">

Compensation

">

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and bonuses.
