Job Title: Visual Effects Lead

 

About the Role:

The role of a Visual Effects Lead involves designing and implementing high-quality 2D character animations, UI animations, and real-time particle effects using Unity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Animation Design: Develop visually appealing and engaging animations for games and other interactive experiences.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including game designers, developers, and artists to integrate assets seamlessly into production.

  • Optimization: Ensure visual assets are optimized for performance across a range of mobile devices.

  • Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior animators and VFX artists, promoting best practices in Unity workflows.

  • Pipeline Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the internal Unity animation and VFX pipelines.

  • Quality Control: Ensure artistic consistency and technical accuracy across projects.

 

Requirements:

  • Unity: Proficiency in Unity game engine.

  • Spine: Experience with Spine animation software.

  • Photoshop: Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.

  • After Effects: Knowledge of Adobe After Effects.

  • Illustrator:

    (Optional) Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator.

  • Git: Understanding of version control using Git.
