Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing large-scale cybersecurity initiatives.

  • This role involves developing innovative solutions to protect networks, assets, and products by implementing state-of-the-art detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
  • The engineer will engage in technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements.
  • Additionally, the candidate will participate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies, designs, and solutions.

This is a hybrid position with expectations of days in office confirmed by your hiring manager.

Our ideal candidate has:

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or cyber security, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of work experience in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc.) with a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or information security, or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • Strong Domain exposure of Cloud Security in multi-cloud enterprise environment: AWS or GCP, or Azure. Expert level certification in 1 or more of platforms is a must. Multi-year experience, Engineering and supporting migrating applications to cloud and implementing security controls in the cloud.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating technical mastery and being an inspirational leader and mentor who continuously develops the competencies of him/herself and others.
  • Reducing time-to-detect and time-to-remediate by driving the automation of applied threat intelligence and sensor enrichment.
  • Developing and expanding API framework to interconnect Security Tools.
