Job Title: Senior SIEM Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Siem Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security operations center, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining our siem platform to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and Deploy Siem Rules: You will work closely with our IT teams to design, develop, and implement siem rules, filters, and alerts that meet specific security monitoring and compliance requirements.
  • Siem Integration and Data Onboarding: Collaborate with our IT teams to onboard new data sources and integrate logs into the siem platform for comprehensive threat detection.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and present regular and ad-hoc reports on siem performance, security incidents, and compliance status to stakeholders and management.
  • Cybersecurity Best Practices: Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to enhance siem capabilities and proactive defense strategies.
  • Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including incident simulations, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to junior team members and stakeholders on siem platform usage, capabilities, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in siem engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of siem systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
