The Platform Engineer III position is a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for designing and managing scalable infrastructure solutions. Key responsibilities include leading the development of advanced CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment.
This involves implementing DevOps best practices, focusing on automation, monitoring, and incident response. The successful candidate will also enhance Kubernetes-based platforms with complex networking and multi-cluster configurations.
Additionally, the engineer will develop and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance through regular audits. They will lead disaster recovery planning and ensure high availability and business continuity.
The role also entails mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance on technical challenges. Furthermore, the engineer will conduct root cause analysis and develop strategies to resolve complex system issues.
Excellent collaboration skills are required, as the engineer will work closely with leadership to enhance team collaboration and processes. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on driving innovation is essential for success in this role.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure management.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and solving complex challenges.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration tools in large-scale systems.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Advanced Coding and scripting skills in Python or Go.
- Proficient in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Datadog, or ELK Stack.
- Solid knowledge of security, scalability, and high availability solutions.
- Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and advanced networking concepts.
