We are seeking a dedicated Network Threat Protection Expert to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security protocols and practices, with a focus on protecting the organization's network and data from potential threats.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing network traffic for security incidents and vulnerabilities, implementing security measures and protocols to safeguard the network, conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify potential weaknesses, responding to and investigating security breaches and incidents, providing timely resolution, collaborating with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance with security policies, staying updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions, providing support for security tools and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions, and preparing and maintaining documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard the network.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential weaknesses.
  • Respond to and investigate security breaches and incidents, providing timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance with security policies.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
  • Provide support for security tools and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident reports.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in network security roles.
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Experience with incident response and vulnerability assessment.
  • Understanding of risk management and security compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security, CEH) are a plus.

Salary Range: ₹ 800,000 - ₹ 1,200,000 per annum
