Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tax Professional to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing tax audits, transfer pricing income tax returns, and other statutory forms based on detailed analysis of applicable clauses and sections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tax audit, transfer pricing income tax returns, and other statutory forms through effective coordination with various functions.
  • Preparation of submissions in response to notices from regulatory bodies by undertaking detailed study of case history, legal research, and preparation of appeal submissions.
  • Providing consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications on overseas payments made by entities after analyzing treaty benefits.
  • Analyzing tax implications of certain incentives given to employees and advising internal stakeholders on the tax-effective structure for employees.
  • Effectively liaising with external and internal stakeholders to represent the organization externally on tax-related matters.
  • Understanding current tax processes effectively, connecting business processes with tax function, applying tools and process improvements to tax function.
  • Taking initiative to automate tasks to make the tax function more efficient.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and highlighting areas or events with potential tax risks and suggesting strategies to manage and mitigate the risk.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1-4 years of experience as a tax professional is required. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary.
