Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the internal audit function, ensuring that our business operations are aligned with our risk management framework and governance policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective internal audit plan to ensure that all areas of the business are subject to regular review.
- Conduct thorough audits of various business processes and systems to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
- Review and report on the results of each audit, providing recommendations for remediation where necessary.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that findings and recommendations are implemented in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance our internal audit function.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong background in auditing, risk management, and governance, preferably within a similar industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
