Principal Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our trading platform, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our trading systems.

As a Principal Consultant, you will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams to drive and implement testing strategies, identify risks, and provide valuable insights into platform improvements.

You will lead and execute QA activities on the Trading Platform, ensuring functionality, performance, and stability across various environments. You will also own and manage the QA lifecycle for the trading platform, including planning, test case development, execution, and defect management.

Additionally, you will work closely with trading and IT teams to understand system requirements, user needs, and business processes to identify critical areas for testing.

Key responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for Endur and related tools, including integration, regression, functional, and performance testing.

Other duties include collaborating with business analysts and developers to ensure proper testing coverage for new functionalities, features, and system integrations.

Furthermore, you will leverage your knowledge of Endur (or similar trading platforms) to identify potential risks, assess system behaviour, and ensure critical trading workflows are functioning correctly.

Finally, you will mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing support for both technical and non-technical issues.

Minimum 5+ years of Endur experience is required. Additionally, extensive experience in QA within trading or financial platforms, with a focus on testing complex trading systems is necessary.

A strong understanding of trading workflows, financial products, and market data in relation to trading platforms is also required. Experience working with test automation frameworks, Agile, and DevOps methodologies is also essential.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, is crucial. Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, is also necessary.

Finally, exposure to and understanding of the full trade lifecycle allied with strong knowledge of the system business processes is required.
