Maintenance Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Seeking a seasoned professional to lead maintenance activities in a state-of-the-art machine shop. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic planning for optimal performance and reliability of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all machine shop equipment.
  • Effectively allocate tasks to technicians and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts for complex mechanical and electrical faults in machinery.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, identify skill gaps, and arrange training programs for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in maintenance and production leadership.
  • Postgraduate degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machine shop equipment and operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
