ASIC Design Engineer

Job Summary

As a skilled ASIC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex digital circuits.

  • Explore architecture to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop micro-architecture and implement it using RTL.
  • Use Verilog, System Verilog, and HLS to develop and integrate IP.
  • Collaborate with verification and emulation teams to develop test plans and debug designs.
  • Work with implementation teams to close designs on timing and power.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in silicon development.
  • First-pass success track record in ASIC development.
  • Experience with Verilog or System Verilog.
  • Proven skills in micro-architecture and RTL development.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data path development.
  • Knowledge of CPU, NOC, Memory, and Peripheral Subsystems.
  • Experience with HLS.
  • Expertise in synthesis, timing closure, and formal verification methodology.
  • Understanding of power analysis and optimization.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, Shell-scripting).
