About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill a challenging position in our organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in zTPF Applications Programming, with a strong understanding of the zTPF environment, Assembler, Sabretalk, TPFDF, and conventional/flat file systems.

  • Minimum 8+ years of full-time current experience as a zTPF Applications Programmer is required.
  • A good understanding of the zTPF environment, Assembler, and related technologies is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in the FOS System is a plus, and good PSS cross-functional knowledge is preferred if no FOS experience.
  • Experience working on agile environments and the ability to work independently as part of an agile team are also necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain high-quality zTPF applications using Assembler, IBM TPF Tool Kit, and CVS tools.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  3. Participate in agile development methodologies, including analysis, design, coding, and testing.
  4. Perform all stages of the development cycle, from analysis to maintenance and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Assembler, IBM TPF Tool Kit, and CVS tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
  • Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks that require a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines and manage workload in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
