Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop firmware for embedded systems
  • Test and verify firmware for functionality and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure firmware meets requirements
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for firmware testing

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in testing embedded firmware
  • Must have exposure to SDLC for embedded firmware
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and lab equipment
  • Overall network system (L1-L7) knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of various network topologies (Star, Mesh/P2P)
  • Expertise in test automation of embedded applications (good to have experience in Robot Framework)
  • Experience in verification of any one of the following:
    • 3GPP LTE/LTE-A/5G MAC
    • IEEE 802.15.4 RF MAC
    • IEEE 802.15.4 RF PHY
  • Expertise in understanding requirements and designing test cases from requirements

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with verification of Smart Metering Systems & Products is a plus
