Senior Frontend Developer

Seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with expertise in Next.js to deliver high-quality user interfaces and drive business growth.
Candidates will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement responsive and performant UI components that meet startup standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Build pixel-perfect responsive user interfaces using Next.js
- Develop reusable front-end libraries and components that scale with the growing product
- Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code with attention to detail
- Integrate frontend components seamlessly with REST APIs
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security meet business requirements
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain code quality
- Take full ownership of assigned features from conception to deployment
- Proactively identify and solve technical challenges before they impact the team
- Lead by example in code quality, documentation, and best practices
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Drive technical decisions for frontend architecture and tooling choices
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to sprint planning and project estimation with accurate timelines
- 1-2 years of professional frontend development experience with demonstrable Next.js expertise
- Strong proficiency with React.js fundamentals and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.)
- Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles
- Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs and data fetching patterns
- Proficiency with version control using Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with frontend build tools and modern development workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail with a perfectionist mindset for UI implementation
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for project outcomes
- Leadership potential demonstrated through initiative-taking and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with TypeScript for type-safe development
- Proficiency with Tailwind CSS for rapid, consistent styling
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
- Experience with performance optimization and web vitals
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and Next.js optimization features
- Exposure to design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for design-to-code workflow
- Basic understanding of backend technologies or full-stack development
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Previous startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset
- Contributing to open-source projects or maintaining personal projects
- Experience with deployment pipelines and DevOps practices
