As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that functional and technical requirements are clear, feasible, and testable. This involves creating detailed test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of the portal's functionality.

Additionally, you will perform testing on individual components and their interactions to verify correctness, identify defects, document them, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

You will also test portal performance (speed, load times) and user experience to ensure the portal meets performance standards and is user-friendly.

In this role, you will review and analyze system specifications, collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans, execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results, create logs to document testing phases and defects, report bugs and errors to development teams, help troubleshoot issues, conduct post-release/post-implementation testing, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Desirable skills include experience creating automation test suites using Selenium, TestNG, etc., and executing load tests on applications using JMeter or similar tools.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in software testing, automation, performance testing, and test strategy development, with familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that functional and technical requirements are clear, feasible, and testable, creating detailed test plans and test cases, performing testing on individual components and their interactions, identifying defects, documenting them, and working with the development team to resolve issues, testing portal performance, and reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
