Job Description:

You will have a high impact on our innovative solutions that delight customers and drive business growth. You will work closely with talented peers in an agile environment, prioritizing code quality, customer focus, and rapid iteration.

Your Role:

  • Drive technology and product innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
  • Be a technical subject matter expert and represent the platform's capabilities internally and externally
  • Lead complex architectural discussions involving multiple systems
  • Identify product/functionality gaps and collaborate with internal teams to define necessary development
  • Drive integration efforts and lead critical work streams of strategic initiatives sponsored by senior executives
  • Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD
  • Proactively respond to integration or technical issues
  • Actively involve stakeholders in communication and setting priorities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert in Object Oriented Programming, Software Design Patterns, Automated Testing, and Deployment
  • Extensive experience in developing Backend Applications using Java/J2EE and related frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Restful web services
  • Exposure to Cloud will be an added advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 14+ years of experience in building successful production software systems
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers to implement user-friendly features and interfaces
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established standards
  • Stay up-to-date with latest development trends, tools, and technologies, recommending best practices to enhance team productivity and product quality
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to foster their professional growth and development
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of curiosity, passion for technology, pride of ownership, and strive for excellence
