We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with business and product owners to solution business needs
  • Develop new tools and create proof of concepts using the latest technologies in the domain
  • Mentor junior and mid-level team members
  • Handle escalations alone during business hours and off hours
  • Research and solve issues on critical production applications
  • Collaborate with team members to identify requirements to connect the business layer with other application layers
  • Considered an application owner by the business
  • Collaborate with the architect to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and expectations
  • Recruit, hire, and develop team members with advanced technical competence

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Java web application development
  • Experience with server technology stacks such as Java/Java EE
  • Expert in Java, Struts, Services Oriented Architectures, and MVC frameworks
  • Demonstrate high level of proficiency in developing Rest/SOAP web services
  • Experience with code repositories with GIT/SVN
  • Demonstrated ORM experience like Hibernate, JPA, ibatis/myBatis
  • Working experience in designing database schema and creating DDL/DML
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in XML, JSON
  • Expert knowledge operating in a UNIX environment
